Spider Sound to Play at Home Basketball Games Jan. 18 & Feb. 1

Concord's Spider Sound Jazz/Pep Band will provide entertainment at the home basketball games on Friday, Jan. 18th & Feb. 1st. Members need to wear jeans & their jazz band shirt. Report time is 5:30 in the band room.

We are a team. - all members need to help transport equipment (stand, percussion, etc) to and from the gym balcony. No member carries just their own instrument. Give your instrument to someone else so you can help with the large equipment or take someone else's so they can help with the large equipment.

"Spider Sound" Jazz/Pep Band

The "Spider Sound", Concord's Jazz/Pep Band has become a platform to introduce students to contemporary styles of music, the basics of improvisation, and solo opportunities.  Students in thise after-school volunteer ensemble are ambassadors for the Concord Band Program by playing for community events.

All band students are encouraged to participate in this after-school group no matter what instrument they play! No fee is charged to participate, but Mr. Morin expects students to be committed to attending all rehearsals and performances.

Rehearsal dates for second semester 2011 are on the band calendar. Additional community performances will be added in the coming months.
