CWEA Championships Wrap-up

Congratulations to the Concord High School Winterguard for their First Place finish in the Silver Division and Second Place overall in Scholastic Regional A Class at the 2010 CWEA Championships!! The group worked hard and progressed well through the season, and their efforts showed! The CMS prep class also performed well and earned a 4th place finish to their season.

Colorguard & Winterguard

The Concord Colorguard is the visual ensemble for the Spider Marching Band.  Members are selected through an audition process in the Spring prior to marching season, and they practice both with the Concord “Marching Spiders” and separately throughout the Summer & Fall.  

The indoor Winterguard is chosen by audition in late fall and performs on the Carolina Winter Ensemble Association (CWEA) circuit from January-April.
